MetalHeadRadio:
Whats the origin of your band name?

Deibler:
Deibler was the name of the family that originally founded the guillotine. We aren't into
decapitating people with execution style weapons but that is what we want to do with our music.

MetalHeadRadio:
How long have you all known each other?

Deibler:
6 years

MetalHeadRadio:
How did you meet?
Deibler:
Through high school and parties

MetalHeadRadio:
When did you form your band?

Deibler:

November of 2005

.............

MetalHeadRadio:
What inspired you to make music together?

Deibler:
The fact that no one was doing anything outside of the box and we knew we could do it
better than the countless shitty local bands that dominated the scene.

MetalHeadRadio:
What is your music background?

Deibler:
Everything from classic rock to experimental math metal.

MetalHeadRadio:
Who are your musical influences?

Deibler:
Between the buried and me, Depeche mode, Lamb of God, Dimmu Borgir, The Used,
Killswitch Engage, and any new acts that come out with guns blazing.

MetalHeadRadio:
What are your immediate music career goals?

Deibler:
Get the full length out and tour the US and Canada.

MetalHeadRadio:
Who handles your daily business activities?

...................

Deibler:
Our vocalist Alex Hodges

MetalHeadRadio:
Do you have a record label? Are you a member of any music organizations?

Deibler:
In the midst of talking with three labels about contracts, but unfortunately they are practically
asking us to sell our soul. We would rather do it ourselves until a super good offer is made
by some cool guys that are in it for the music and not the fucking money.

MetalHeadRadio:
Where have you performed? What are your favorite and least favorite venues?

Deibler:
The Queen Mary, Galaxy theater, The whiskey, Rock Harbor, Chain Reaction etc.
Our least favorite venue is hogue barmichaels. The security guards are way too intense
about their shitty fucking job.

MetalHeadRadio:
Do you have any upcoming shows?

Deibler:
We are recording our full length currently so our tour will be booked half way through us
being finished.

MetalHeadRadio:
Where would the "ultimate" venue for you to play be?

Deibler:
Any venue that Between the buried and me, Dimmu borgir, In flames, or Lamb of God is
playing the same night.

MetalHeadRadio:
Which songs do you perform most frequently?

Deibler:
The ones everyone wants to hear.

MetalHeadRadio:
Do you ever play any covers?

.........

Deibler:
Occasionally our guitarists will cover August burns red songs while we are setting up.
Everyone always gets amped its awesome.

MetalHeadRadio:
Who writes your songs?

Deibler:
All of us together.

MetalHeadRadio:
What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs?

Deibler:
Get up and do it, the world is bad but fixable, quit blaming other people for your problems,
fuck people that hold you back, and heartbreak isn't easy but it's no reason to give up.

MetalHeadRadio:
Who comes up with the most song ideas?

Deibler:
All of us

MetalHeadRadio:
What are your rehearsals generally like?

Deibler:
Practice our set or half our set depending on how dis inhibited our band is, then a new guitar
riff turns into the beginning of a new song.

MetalHeadRadio:
Which you practice or are rehearsals more spontaneous?

Deibler:
Definitely not spontaneous, we are on top of our live set all the time.

MetalHeadRadio:
How has your music evolved since first began playing together?

Deibler:
We used to focus all our efforts on blowing everyone instrumentally and technically out of
the water, then we realized it didn't mean anything. Now we want to send a message of hope
and shred at the same time while doing whatever we want. Too many people play it safe in
their music.

MetalHeadRadio:
What advice do you have for people who
want to form their own bands?

Deibler:
Do it. Don't think, just do it.

MetalHeadRadio:
What is the name of your most current CD?

..................

Deibler:
We have a collection of 8 songs on 2 different myspaces, its a demo of preproductions
for the upcoming full length. Which will be titled "Late Bloomer"

MetalHeadRadio:
Where can it be purchased?

Deibler:
The pre productions can all be downloaded off our myspace pages and the CD will be
available off i-tunes.

MetalHeadRadio:
Do you maintain a webpage or myspace page?

Deibler:
