K626:
We are a Metal/Death Metal band from the Inland Empire, Southern
California. Living and Breathing in the San Bernardino Mountains. K626 is a
hard hitting, aggressive, in your face metal band, that writes all original material.
Our band members are very professional, motivated and entertaining people.
We are looking for a Major record deal and are interested in having air play on
Metal Head Radio. There are four members of K626; Chris (Skary)- Lead Vocals
(Business owner, Family man, entrepreneur, friend of the band 15 yr.s), Brent
Wisdom- Guitar (Business owner, Family man, Brother in law of the Downards),
Brian Downard- Bass (Construction Foreman, Single Family man, Brother of Joey)
and Joey Downard- Drums (Construction Foreman, Single family man, Brother of Brian).

MHR: Whats the origin of your band name?

K626: K626 originated from the great Mozart.
This was his last symphonies written as a funeral
song for his father. The song was not finished on
the day of his passing and we like to think that we
are taking steps to finishing it Death Metal style.

MHR: How long have you all known each other?
How did you meet?

K626: We have been a band since 1994, meeting in the San Bernardino Mountains and
playing in a number of different bands before maturing enough to get noticed. Our music is
about the religious war between good and evil. Brent is Good. Chris is Evil!

MHR: Who are your musical influences?

K626: We are influenced by many bands
ranging from Pantara, Obituary, grind core,
death core all the way to the melodic sounds
of Cat Stevens. We love music almost any
way you can get it...

MHR: What are your immediate music
career goals? ( Next year or so)

K626: We are seeking endorsements and publicity. K626 is the real deal, real Music,
real attitudes. We plan on making a mark in the Music industry and we would like to
get a Major record deal.

MHR: Who handles your daily business activities? (Bookings, promotions etc.)

K626: K626 Manager Shannon Dabney handles most of are daily business activity's.
Shes hot, young and motivated.

MHR: Do you think internet radio is
a viable means to get your music
"out there"?

K626: We believe in all music radio,
everybody has there own preference
on where to listen and we definitely
think Internet radio is a good thing.

K626 has air play on X103.9, 96.7
KCAL, XM Liquid Metal radio and
now metalheadradio.com. We are
constantly working on moving forward
and inviting other stations and press to
enjoy and share are music all over the
world. We also have upcoming reviews
in Muen magazine and Revolvers
"Meet and Greet".

MHR: Where have you performed? What are your favorite and least favorite venues?

K626: We've played a number of venues. Some which include up coming shows
at The Pomona Fairplex Tattoo Convention, a three day event. The Whiskey a go-go
on Sunset Strip in Hollywood, with My Ruin. Angels in Corona with Ankla. The Vibe
in Riverside. We are constantly on the go, and cover many of the surrounding Counties.
We have an elaborate light show when provided an adequate stage size. We acquire
a new following at every show, constantly meeting new fans.

MHR: What are your rehearsals
generally like?

K626: Very professional! We own
a rehearsal space and always find
time to practice. We also have shows
every weekend, this keeps us in pretty
good shape.

MHR: What is the name of your most
current CD? Where can it be purchased?

K626: We just recorded our new CD in
a three month period. Seven Deadly and
it can be purchased on line at K626.net.
