MetalHeadRadio:
Whats the origin of your band name?

RageStorM
We have chosen this name ‘cause it means what we want to express in our music.
Rage, anger and, on the other side, the way to be unleashed and uncontrollable just like a storm.

MetalHeadRadio:
How long have you all known each other?
RageStorM
Well, Game and Bonny are cousins, so they know
themselves form their birth. The other members
joined the band or we have met each other in some
different situations in this last 3 years.

MetalHeadRadio:
When did you form your band?
What inspired you to make music together?

RageStorM
The band was born in 2004. At the time we were a couple of bored kids, we just wanted to create
a band for joke. But in a couple of years, the thing is getting bigger, more gigs, 2 demo cd’s, a lot of
fans in Italy and now all over the world… Now we have to dedicate a lot of Energy and time for
the band.

MetalHeadRadio:
What is your music background?

RageStorM
We really have a LOT of personal influences… Each member has his own musical
backgrounds, from the modern metalcore to 80’ hair metal, passing by brutal death metal or the
scandinavian power metal!

MetalHeadRadio:
Who are your musical influences?

RageStorM
The influences are really diversificated,
so the few bands that we like together
are LambOf God, Children Of Bodom,
Also Slipknot i think.

MetalHeadRadio:
What are your immediate music career goals?

RageStorM
At the end of the year we’ll like to gain more demo reviews as possible from the webzines and
magazines. We are also working for a tour this fall, we like to make some shows not only in Italy
but also in other countries like France, or Switzerland. But the real goal is to find a decent
record label ahahah!

MetalHeadRadio:
Who handles your daily business activities? (Bookings, promotions etc.)

RageStorM
We do it ourselves! All the myspace organisation, the contacts, the patnerships and the deals with
clubs and other bands is our daily work.

MetalHeadRadio:
Where have you performed?
What are your favorite and least
favorite venues?
Do you have any upcoming shows?

RageStorM
In the last 3 years of activity we have
toured in a loto f clubs in north of italy,
especially in Turin and in Aosta Valley.

We remember a great show the last 15th of december, in Aosta, when we were
openers for Necrodeath, wich is one of the most important thrash/black bands in Italy.

MetalHeadRadio:
Where would the "ultimate" venue for you to play be?

RageStorM
We aspire to rule the world man! Ahahahah… Seriously, we’ll like to play in one of the most
important festivals, like Wacken or Download festival… Also Ozzfest would be GREAT!

MetalHeadRadio:
Which songs do you perform most frequently?
Do you ever play any covers?

RageStorM
From the release date of our new demo
“Someone Hears?”, we play on stage all it’s
tracks. For the cover we are playin’
“People=shit” by Slipknot… It’s a killer
song, perfect to close our gigs!

MetalHeadRadio:
Who writes your songs?

RageStorM
Anyone of us write the songs. When someone has an idea, a concept or a new riff in his mind, let’s
write it then we’ll work all together to make a complete song. Our lyrics talk about ourselves and our
personal way to see the world. It’s all about introspection.

MetalHeadRadio:

What are your rehearsals generally like? Do you have a set time each week in
which you practice or are rehearsals more spontaneous?

RageStorM
We usually like to meet in Tuesday afternoon for rehersals. But when we have to do other things, like
writing new songs or changing something on myspace or stuff like that, we’ll meet at Kolla’s house
every evening… Then we’ll come to the nearest pub to drink some ahahaha!

MetalHeadRadio:
How has your music evolved since first began playing together?

RageStorM
Now our songs present more fluidity between the parts, more musical strenght. We are less
ingenuous, in some way, there’s more contamination of more genres. Then we have worked a
lot to make a fatter and powerful production on the new cd.

We have evolved much more from the first demo to our second cd. At the time of the first recording
session we are all 17teenth, we didn’t have the right experience for creating a great album. We make
only a good album thoug. Now we are more focusen on a research of catchy sounds, great melodies,
mixed up with some great blast offs, great guitar dueling (not 1000 guitar solos per minute, but the right
mix between the action of the two axes) and stuff like that.

MetalHeadRadio:
What advice do you have for people who want to form their own bands?

RageStorM
At first, a real band must have as base the real friendship between the mates. If you want to
raise up your band in something stronger then you must add perseverance and confidence in
yourself but most of all humility.

MetalHeadRadio:
What is the name of your most current CD?
Where can it be purchased?

RageStorM
Our brand new work is called “Someone
Hears?”. It features 5 brand new tracks,
and you can find it on all our gigs or on
our myspace.

MetalHeadRadio:
Do you maintain a webpage or myspace page? If so what is the URL?

RageStorM
We have a myspace page which is our netbase, it allows to be always in contact with all the
people who appreciate our work. The URL is www.myspace.com/ragestormmetal
